To develop KukanOS, we combined a semiotic approach rooted in the Kūkan-ha framework with Minimalism, Shodō calligraphy, Karate, and Japanese aesthetics, all centered on the brave warrior-protector archetype. We envisioned the Flame of the Sun (日炎) as the guiding framework for our workflow, coding, and user privacy.
